Tooth Composite Fillings

Our dentists will examine your teeth and offer you advice on suitable treatments.

Tooth Coloured (Composite) Fillings

Teeth can have holes under the enamel and cannot easily be seen, but can cause pain in the future. Composite fillings are natural, tooth coloured fillings that prevent holes from getting bigger and causing pain.

After cleaning the hole we place a tooth-coloured, mercury free composite material to match the existing colour of your tooth. Composite fillings range from £100-200 depending on the size and complexity of the hole and can stay 5-10 years.

How long do composite fillings last?

Resin composite fillings last five to ten years but can require polishing over time due to stain picked up from food and drinks.

How much is a composite filling?
Tooth coloured fillings cost between £100-200.
Do composite fillings hurt?

Getting a filling does not hurt at all and actually helps to eliminate pain from your teeth. Fillings can be used to fix crack, holes and worn teeth.

How long do I have to wait till I can eat after a composite filling?
You can eat and drink straight after you have your filling placed, because the filling is set and hardened using a blue light.
