When a tooth is heavily broken down, inlays and Onlays can help to rebuild the tooth when fillings will not protect the tooth enough.
An Onlay covers the cusp of the tooth while the inlay only fills the area between the cusps, providing the current contour of the tooth preventing food from getting trapped between teeth and giving the tooth an unmatched natural appearance.
The procedure is usually taken over 2 visits, 2 weeks apart with an average costs of inlays/onlays are £595 and can maintain their appearance for more than 10 years depending on the material.
