Dental Crowns

When teeth are severely damaged and weak, a crown can help protect the tooth from fracturing. A fractured tooth can cause further pain or even tooth loss.

Crowns are replaced if you have a broken tooth, decayed. After preparing the tooth, we use our scanner and in-house milling machine to construct a natural, tooth coloured porcelain crown within an hour.

Broken and damaged teeth can be fixed on the same day for approximately £595 and tend to last 10-15 years.

How long do dental crowns last?
Dental crowns can last 10-15 years but can often last longer if well maintained.
Is it painful to have a crown put on your tooth?

The process should be completely painless. Our team are able to anaesthetise the area and make sure there is no discomfort during the procedure.

If you have any discomfort, please let us know and we will top up the numbing.

How long does it take to make?
Preparing a tooth for a crown takes usually 45 minutes. Using our in house crown-making milling machine, we are able to manufacture your new crown within the hour in most cases, with no pain or sensitivity or need for temporary crowns.
How long until I can eat?
In most cases you can eat straight away, just be careful for the first 2 hours while you are numb, so it is a good idea to avoid hot or chewy foods.
